Book published in multiple editions
In the reference list
A book can be published in several editions. It is called a new edition if changes have been made to the content. Information about the edition should be in parentheses after the title. The period is placed after the parentheses.
Example:
Repstad, P. (2014). Sosiologiske perspektiver for helse- og sosialarbeidere (3rd ed.). Universitetsforlaget.
EndNote
For all editions except 1st edition, write 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. Ed. is added by EndNote.
Zotero
You only have to write the number of the edition in the field Edition (the number ‘2’ for the 2nd edition). If it is a first edition, leave the field blank.
Note: If you want to register information about previous editions of the book, this can be entered in a Note, e.g. 1st edition 2021.
